  • When: 2nd Saturday of each month. September 9th, 2023, through August 10, 2024
  • How: This course contains 14 modules that equal 72- hours of lessons and workshops. You may attend for specific education on topics of interest to you. Or you may work towards your Permaculture Design Certificate or Teaching Certificate. To earn your Permaculture Design Certificate, you must be present for a total of 72- hours and present your final design project to our group of piers.

  • Natural Building workshops at UCR Palm Desert are available to Certificate Students and Student Teachers.

Course Information

This Permaculture Design Certificate Course (PDC) is a 72-hour training. It is formatted as 1 day, (6 hours), per month for 12 months. Students who complete the curriculum earn the internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certificate with the honors and privileges of a permaculture designer, consultant and teacher.

Throughout the course, we explore the permaculture design system that is capable of establishing regenerative communities and economies. We will practice taking action and being the solution to climate change while bonding in a supportive community of like minds and hearts.

If you wish to secure your Permaculture Design Certificate and become a designer, consultant and/or teacher, please support DiHG's mission by selecting recurring monthly donation that is comfortable for your philanthropic budget.

If you wish to study permaculture as a practitioner, you may attend any individual lessons and workshops that interest you. Please support DiHG as you go by making a donation that is comfortable to you each time you attend.

If you would like to participate as a student teacher, please support DiHG's mission monthly by becoming a recurring donor and volunteer.
